Have a Happy 4th of July weekend!

The final poll is up.  Place your votes below.  Remember, only registered members can vote.  If you are not yet signed up for the website, send us your email address so you can vote too!
Attention all NE Challenge teams:
Remember to send in your registration sheets by Friday!

Attention All Vegas bound teams:
Remember to schedule those make up games!  The office will be closed from July 10th through July 19th.  If you are planning on having a make-up game that week, please call the office by July 9th to let me know so I can print the sheets out.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR WINNERS!
Rack  'Em Up is going to Las Vegas to compete in the 9-Ball National Team Championship!   Congrats to Jeff Jorgensen, Dan Perez, Rich King, Edwin Perez, John Jorgensen, Bill Jorgensen, Mark Musetti & Erick Toledo.  Joining them will be our second winner Poolin' Around!  Congrats to Jack Nowack, Antonio Huie, Angel Alcantara, Susie Giarratano, Victor Torres, Bob Muller and Frank Seymore, Jr.
Now for our 8-Ball Winners...I Got that Feelin' was the first winner.  Adam Kaminski, Bobby Varughese, Brian Bulanowski, Diane Freidel, Aldrin Yumul, Erwin Yumul, Ted Dabrowski & Matthew Miglio.  They will be joined by Just Chillin's roster who are:  Jeff Jorgensen, Dave Neese, Patrick Adams, Matt Hildenbrand, AJ Demeo, Anthony Giannetto, Mark Paredes and James Stuart.  The next winner was Maggies; Dave Alito, Maggie Kriete, Ken Naglitsch, Ron Frisbie, Stephen Marner, Brenda Pargament and Katherine Alzate.  Our final winner was the High Balls;  Bob Imhoff, Ray Ciappa, Bob Drucker, Steve Fagan, Doug Vunk and Ronnie Vannoy.
Congrats to you all on a job well done!  We wish you all Good Luck!

Congratulations to the following Tier-2 teams who each won $1,200 in cash!  The 9-Ball winner was:  Chances ; Archie Newlin, Joseph Denaro, Wayne McBurnie, Dayo Parris, Joseph Denaro Jr., Sharon Tarry, Dave Cattaneo and Donald Murray.  Our two 8-Ball winners were: Up in Smoke; Randy Stremel, Michael Woods, William Motley, Christopher Fatigati, Eric Gundersen, Joey Calobrisi, Brad Bono and Jennifer Woods;  and  Smokin' Now Boys; Mark Billhimer, Charlie Dash, Mike Deutsch, Luis Rodriguez, Maria Riccio, Dawn Mount and Vickiann Vachula.  Congrats to all of you!

We would also like to give an honorable mention to the 2nd place teams.  In Tier-1, the 8-ball teams had the option to take $600 or to go to the Northeast Challenge tournament.  CJ Bonds took the cash and the other three: Hammer Time, Maples and Bank it to Win are heading to CT in July to compete in the tournament.  The 9-Ball teams only had the cash option as there isn't a 9-ball tournament to play in yet.  They were: Banking on Luck and Come Back Kids.

Kudos also go out to the 2nd place teams in the Tier-2 tournament.  They fought hard, each down to the 5th match!  They were Bang Balls! in 9-ball and Nut-N-Honey and Forgotten Ones in 8-Ball.

have fun meet people play schoolEveryone Plays Pool In The APA...

Talk to your friends, neighbors, and co-workers. You'll find that they either play in the APA or know someone who does. It'll surprise you! Clerks, secretaries, janitors, lawyers, chiropractors, doctors, waitresses, truck drivers, bank tellers, and even school teachers ... all play pool in the APA Pool League. Over one fourth of APA members are female. The APA is the World's Largest Amateur Pool League with more members than all other amateur leagues combined. World wide, the APA currently boasts over 250,000 members (and growing). For those of you that might be thinking "I'm not good enough to play", consider this: 75% of APA members are beginner to intermediate players, meaning you don't have to be a Pool Pro to play. The only thing you really need, is the desire to have fun!

With the APA's Equalizer® Handicap System, Everyone can play- Anyone can win!

REGISTRATION HELP!!01/07/2008 1:41:15 PM
Hi Everyone, I have been receiving phone calls and helping people with different problems. Here are some hints to help you:

1. You do not need to put 066 in front of your member number, you only need the 5 digit number.

2. When you enter your birthdate year, another box will pop up that will ask for the month, then a box that will pop up for the date. You must fill out all 3 or it will not accept your registration.

3. If you have the wrong email (or no email) address on file, please send this information to me and I'll update it and send you back an email letting you know it's good to go back on. Send it to: APATournaments@aol.com

4. If your birthdate on file is incorrect or missing, send this info to me at the above address.

5. When you have entered all info, you will receive an email back with a link you must click on to activate your account.

If you are still having trouble, email me or call the office and we'll get you started. Good Luck!
